CAD/CAM experience, CNC Programming, Setting and Operating of CNC metal machines.

About the role

We seek an Enthusiastic, Versatile, Committed and Qualified Fitter/Machinist with proven experience. 

Must have experience in metal CNC, programming, setting, machining, finishing.

The successful candidate will be expected to be able to do all 4 processes

Skills and experience

• Qualified fitter & turner
• Must have both Manual and CNC machining experience – ie: Mills & Lathes
• The job requires you to be able to program, set and operate metal CNC equipment
• CAD/CAM experience is a must
• Any experience in: Mazatrol, Heidenhain, Okuma, Fanuc, Mastercam, Solidworks
• Understanding of Technical engineering drawings
• 5-axis machining experience is a bonus but not essential
• If you have welding and fabrication experience, this is an added benefit
• Tool-making ability is an advantage
• Mechanical aptitude
• Not afraid to get hands dirty
• Ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks
• Ability to interact with other team members at all levels
• Ability to work in a high paced environment
• Be a generator of ideas and ability to think outside the square
• Use of overhead cranes and forklifts is part of the job
• Must be physically fit

Essential to your success is a motivated attitude and ability to organise your daily tasks and work with minimum supervision.
