THE ROLE
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC Lathe machines, including milling and lathe operations to fabricate parts with accuracy and consistency. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operate CNC & manual lathes, milling machines, and other equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications with precision
- Complete work orders in a timely manner and maintain accurate documentation
- Uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times
ABOUT YOU
You will utilise your strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in interpreting drawings and specifications to excel in your role. You will have a safety-focused mindset, be passionate about precision engineering, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. As a successful candidate seeking a long-term role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
- Experience operating Okuma CNC Machines
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Positive can-do attitude and reliable employment history
