We are seeking applications from experienced Machinists - Manual & CNC for ongoing work in the Pinkenba region.
The Role:
Based in Pinkenba, this role requires a highly motivated individual and the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Programming and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines and or
- Operation of manual lathes and milling machines
- Manufacture and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and engineering component
- Interpret engineering drawings and use of measuring tools
About You:
The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Trade Qualified (Fitter and Machinist).
- Experience in programming and operating CNC lathes or milling machines or
- Experience in machining hydraulic cylinder components is advantageous.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances.
- Committed to safety.
- Attention to detail
