Our client is a distinguished machining business renowned for its precise and complex machining capabilities. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility in the bustling industrial hub of Gladstone, Queensland, it has established itself as a leader in the engineering industry since its inception in the late 90s .
Position : CNC Machinist / Programmer
Location: Gladstone, QLD
Job Type : Full time
Starting Time : ASAP
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary : $40 - $45 per hr plus Super & Overtime
Main Duties
- Set up and operate a variety of metal working machines, including lathes, milling machines, and other CNC equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce components that meet precise measurements and quality standards.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each machining job.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and efficient machining processes.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify that components meet design specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Trade Certifications or relevant experience in machining, programming and operating
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Ability to work or relocate to Gladstone QLD.
- Australian work rights.
