AddressWe are seeking a CNC Machinist to join a well-established business specialising in precision engineering and toolmaking. Based on the Gold Coast, they are one of Australia's leading injection and blow mould manufacturers creating one-offs and custom parts for both local and international companies. Offers full time hours with workshop work Monday to Friday, with weekends available.
About The Role:
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Working Hours: 40 hour working week & flexible day structure.
- Operate Lathe and/or Mill CNC machines
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Work alongside other trades effectively.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Ensure timely completion of work.
- Ability to read and interpret documentation and basic detailed drawings
- Cooperate professionally with clients, team members, and management.
- Trade Qualified with appropriate experience
- Previous experience programming and operating CNC machines essential
- Mazak/Mazatrol experience is highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Great attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-driven with good time management and prioritising skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently, whilst also being a strong team player
- Valid Australian Driver's licence and reliable transportation.
