Responsibilities
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining the Okuma MA 550 UB milling machine according to safety regulations
- Developing CNC programs using CAM software and manual coding
- Inspecting machinery parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records of machining processes
- Performing preventative maintenance on the machine as required
- Ensuring smooth production flow alongside other team members
- Adhering to work and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Experience operating a 4-axis CNC milling machine
- A valid forklift licence and experience using an overhead crane are ideal, but not essential
- A strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
