We are an AS9100 Quality Accredited advanced manufacturing business, specialising in producing quality, precision components and assemblies utilising our state-of-the-art facility and dedicated team with a ‘can do’ attitude.
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to operate our CNC Lathes and Mills on Afternoon Shift ensuring smooth production runs.
The role will be responsible to monitor machine tool life, offset the required dimensions and run the machines at maximum efficiency to meet customer specification.
Essential Requirements
- Trade Qualifications – Certificate IV Mechanical Engineering / Fitter and Machinist
- Complete understanding of CNC machining principles
- Minimum 5 years experience operating multi axis CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to use metrology equipment
- High attention to detail with tight tolerance and complex parts
- Good knowledge of OH&S principles and practices in a production environment
- Ability to operate multiple machines during a shift
Desired Requirements
- Previous experience working with Okuma Machines
- Familiar with FANUC controller
- Good communication skills
