Overall Purpose of the Job: As a CNC Machine Setter/Operator, your primary responsibility is to ensure that CNC and relevant manual machines within our CNC production areas are producing components efficiently and up to the standards required by Quality Assurance.

They are a reputable national company who has recently merged with an international player in the beverage dispensing industry and now sells their high quality products around the globe.
Description
Key Tasks:
- Production Scheduling: Collaborate with the Production Manager and manufacturing team to schedule work through relevant machining cells, utilizing scheduling tools effectively.
- Material Management: Ensure materials are readily available at the machine, in the correct quantities, and adhere to the specified specifications.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain data accuracy throughout all job aspects, promptly reporting any errors following the correct procedure.
- CNC Machine Operation:
- Load CNC programs.
- Run and verify "1st" off parts (liaising with quality when necessary).
- Machine batches to the required quality standards.
Profile
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Setter/Operator or similar role
- Some CNC Lathe or CNC Milling would be helpful but not essential.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measurement tools and quality control standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
