About the Role
Due to continued growth we now have a vacancy for an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team.
Your daily duties would include but not be limited to :
- Preparing and operating CNC machines
- Program and machine high precision engineering parts for the power transmission engineering field.
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Perform quality control checks and report any issues
About You
As an integral part of the team you'll bring your strong work ethic and previous experience in this or a similar role as well as:
- Be an experienced CNC Machine programmer, setter and operator (Okuma experience essential – 2 years minimum)
- Must have experience working to close tolerances
- Attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong work ethic and good attendance record
- Good communication and listening skills
- Able to take and follow directions
- Must have full Australian working rights and be a resident at time of applying for the role
- Must be Covid-19 fully vaccinated
