SalaryBCI Furniture builds quality furniture and joinery for public usage: In Retail, Hospitality, and Corporate spaces, and Healthcare and Education facilities, BCI has established a reputation of being Makers - with a can-do, design-and-build approach which provides both solutions and value for our clients.
We require an experienced CNC Router Operator to run our machine in our factory in Hallam where we build custom seating and tables: Banquettes and lounges, stools and benches; planters, waste units, and more, using both traditional and CNC equipment for the machining of both solid timber and composite panels; jointing and assembling, cladding and coating.
We currently operate a 3600x1800mm 3-axis machine with auto load and unload. We anticipate requiring additional equipment in the future; probably 5-axis.
Machine operation may sometimes be supplemented by other Cabinet-making tasks dependant on ability.
Skills and Experience – required and beneficial
Essential requirements:
- Experience in CNC Router operation
- Experience in CNC Router programming
- Experience in CNC Router maintenance
Beneficial but Non-essential:
- Current Forklift license
- Experience in CAD drafting/joinery design-detailing
- Experience in Cabinet-making/Wood-machining/Joinery/Assembly
- Experience working with both solid timber and composite panels
- Experience working with HP Laminate, Veneer, Corian, etc.
Remuneration rate is not fixed and will be influenced by level of expertise, qualification, and experience.
