Immediate vacancy for a CNC Press Brake operator on one of our machines is now available. You will be working in a team environment.
The successful applicant will join our team and work in our new factory based in Maddington.
The duties of the operator are:
- Setting the brake press by selecting tooling, calling up programs and setting machine parameters
- Measuring parts to engineering drawings and making adjustments as required
- Operating the brake press and ensuring all product quality requirements are met
- Working in a safe manner
- Maintaining the work area in a clean and organised state
- Using a forklift to transport sheet metal to & from the processing area
- Understanding steel folding dimensions
- Reading & interpreting shop drawings
- Basic machine maintenance
A forklift license is required and training will be provided for the right candidate.
Depending on workflows, you may be required to assist with other factory duties.
Ordinary hours of work are 7:20am - 3.30pm, however, overtime is regularly available
