About the Role
Business is booming and we are looking to expand both the team and the hours of operation with shifts. There will be the option for overtime and afternoon / evening work.
We have a need for a dedicated, independent, machine operator with Press Brake experience that is keen to take on all forms of machine operator tasks (listed below), primarily Press Brake.
About You
With a willing attitude and friendly demeanour, you will be required to:
- Operate LVD 170tonne Brake Press
- Operate Tube Laser / Flat Bed Laser
- Rolling and bending
- Read and interpret production drawings and BOM’s
- Ability to create programs at the machine (experience with Solidworks & Cadman desirable)
- Ability to perform QA checks, measure in-process and completed parts
- Ensure the work area, tooling, and equipment is clean, tidy, safe, and ready for use.
- Aid with packing completed jobs for customers
Key Attributes:
- A proven history in a similar role within a manufacturing / fabrication environment
- Overtime available
- Minimum 2 years setting and operating a Press Brake
- Work autonomously
- Current Forklift licence
- Strong listening, communication, and planning skills
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
