Form of workOur client is a leading signage manufacturer looking for a self-motivated and results-driven tradesperson to support our team in the role of a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator. They are looking for someone to join our team in a full-time capacity.
Proven competence in CNC machine setting and operating is essential. Further experience with Multi Cam machines/Enroute Program would be advantageous but not essential.
As the CNC/Router Operator you would be responsible for: -
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has completed correctly
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings
- Follow directions given to you by the Supervisor
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing organisation priorities and problem solving
- An understanding of signage or similar would be advantageous
About you:
Coming from a previous role where you have operated a similar machine, you may have been exposed to the signage, building or steel industries. You will possess some or most of the following: -
- Prior machine operating experience within manufacturing
- CNC experience – desired
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Team player
- Confident measuring items to cut
