Your Role: Making Excellence a Reality
- Efficiently operate the CNC router, optimising tool pathing.
- Maintain high standards of the CNC router through regular upkeep and inspections.
- Utilise handheld and power tools for part creation and repair.
- Coordinate with the production team to optimise CNC machine performance in line with production goals.
- Interpret technical documentation to execute tasks accurately.
- Collaborate within the team for product assembly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Identify and manage defective items per established guidelines.
- Ensure work is conducted safely and efficiently.
Qualities We Value
- Proficient background in manufacturing with practical hands-on expertise.
- Strong aptitude for mathematics.
- Skillful in deciphering technical drawings.
- Prior experience with ART CNC machinery or similar programs.
- Proficiency in router operation (Intermac or Flatbed routers).
- Previous work as a CNC operator/programmer (desirable).
- Familiarity with conventional programming (ISO) or CAD drawing (desirable).
- Experience with ART program “Toolshop” (preferred).
- Knowledge of TurboCAD (preferred).
- Experience in precision-based one-off part creation (not essential).
- Adept communicator who thrives within a team and engages stakeholders seamlessly.
- Both autonomous and team-oriented work styles.
- Problem-solving prowess, coupled with a knack for risk assessment.
- Proficiency in operating jib and/or gantry cranes.
- Hold a valid QLD High-Risk License FL.
- Enthusiasm for skill diversification, with opportunities to cross-train across various business domains.
- While familiarity with fibreglass is advantageous, it's not a mandatory prerequisite.
