The Role: Transwa Coach Driver
Exciting opportunities await you as we seek skilled and committed individuals for the positions of Coach Drivers in Geraldton. As a Coach Driver, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, delivering a top-tier service to our customers. Operating long-distance passenger road coaches, you will ensure a safe, efficient, and exceptional travel experience. Reporting directly to the Assistant Operations Manager (Road) within the Transwa division, this role is pivotal in upholding our reputation as a leader in the public transport industry.
What You Can Expect:
Successful applicants can anticipate earning at least $100,000 annually, considering previous average earnings of full-time staff, inclusive of overtime and allowances.
Requirements to be Considered:
- Substantial experience in driving passenger vehicles on long-distance country roads.
- Possession of a current Western Australian Heavy Vehicles Drivers’ Licence ‘Class HR or equivalent with 'Passenger Transport Driver’ endorsement.
- Considerable understanding of and adherence to the Road Traffic Act with a safe driving record.
- Sound mechanical aptitude, including the ability to diagnose problems, undertake minor repairs, and report on faults and failures.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills in a frontline customer service environment, with demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
- To be eligible for appointment to a position, suitable applicants will be required to undertake a full and comprehensive medical assessment.
Please note you will be required to complete the PTA Integrity and Qualification Consent Form and an Australian National Police Clearance (NPC) should you become the recommended applicant through the recruitment process. Adverse outcomes of Integrity Reviews, NPCs, and Drivers Licence checks (where applicable) may not necessarily disqualify an applicant from the selection process.
