- Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions with clients, focusing on their individual fitness goals, needs, and abilities.
- Develop personalised fitness programs tailored to each client's specific objectives, incorporating strength training, cardiovascular exercises, flexibility, and mobility work.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and motivation to clients to help them stay committed to their fitness journey and achieve their desired results.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and form to ensure clients perform exercises safely and effectively.
- Conduct fitness assessments and track clients' progress over time, adjusting their programs as needed to optimise results.
- Maintain a clean and organised training area, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and sanitised regularly.
- Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in fitness training and coaching to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a personal trainer or coach in Australia.
- Certificate IV in Fitness or equivalent qualification recognised by Fitness Australia.
- Strong understanding of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Current CPR/AED certification recognised by an Australian authority
