Glencore Coal Assets Australia's CHPP Maintenance Planner Traineeship has a goal of developing the next generation of maintenance leaders within the CHPP environment. These roles will broaden your experience base with rotations to multiple GCAA operations (based in Hunter Valley NSW or Mackay and Emerald Region, QLD). This two year traineeship opportunity will include a development plan tailored to your specific training needs with formal qualifications in Asset and Maintenance Management, specific equipment training and other On-The-Job competencies.
As a CHPP Maintenance Planner Trainee, you will be a valuable member of the dynamic team, contributing to our organisational success and providing quality service to our employees and contractors. Under the guidance of an experienced team, you will be exposed to a variety of roles within the CHPP function of our business across sites. This provides our trainees with the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the strategic and tactical nature of CHPPs and Maintenance. Responsibilities will include maintenance planning, resource and contractor management, parts procurement, consultation with a variety of stakeholders, project management, problem solving, reviewing and actioning condition monitoring results and reporting activities.

You will have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent, or
- A trade qualification within Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
- Previous Coal HandlingPreparation Plant experience will be highly regarded
- Working knowledge of SAP (highly regarded)
- Driver's Licence and access to transport
- These are residentially based roles and successful applicants will work a Monday to Friday, Day shift roster.
