AddressMinara Resources has an opportunity for a skilled Coded Welder Leading Hand to join our established and dedicated team.

The Role
The Leading Hand is responsible for providing guidance to the workshop team and following processes/procedure as directed by your Supervisor.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing guidance to the workshop team and following processes/procedure as directed by your Supervisor
- Carrying out Welding activities using FCAW, GTAW, MIG & MMAW welding processes
- Consulting with peers to ensure all fabrication and welding is carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with specifications
- Completion of relevant preventative maintenance tasks across our complex process plant
- Assisting in the completion of breakdown and shutdown maintenance as required.
About You
This role would suit a Coded Welder with Leading Hand exposure who is looking for long-term job security in a thriving team environment. You will also:
- Strong background in site based maintenance.
- Previous experience working as a Coded Welder within a process plant environment
- A current & valid Manual 'C' Class drivers licence;
- Able to pass multiple weld tests to ASME IX/ AS3992 on a range of materials including carbon steel, various stainless steels, nickel alloys and titanium
- Able to work in confined spaces, restricted areas and at heights; and
- Have a fundamental understanding of Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental procedures with a proactive approach to personal safety.
