About the role
Cold End Department provides finished glass containers which are inspected for quality and return of defective containers. Enhancing production performance while maintaining safety and quality and minimising machinery downtime. 6AM-2PM -Great work life balance & allowing parents to pick up their kids.
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Maintain, fault find and repair equipment
* Packaging machinery including palletisers
* Strapping machines, pallet conveyors and elevators.
* Perform general welding, fabrication, and machining
* Job changes; setting up machines to inspect different types and coloured containers on Cold End equipment.
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualified - Maintenance Fitter
* Previous experience in troubleshooting and fault finding
* Welding/fabrication experience
* A demonstrated ability to follow standardised process and work systematically
* Strong safety focus
