The Electrolux Adelaide Manufacturing Cooking Plant is a thriving and innovative example of modern advanced manufacturing in Australia. Encompassing fully automated sheet metal press lines, robot powder coating processes, automated gluing cells, centralised assembly and packing. Consisting of a workforce of more than 400 employees, across three shifts and 40+ robots all contributing to making approximately 1,500 ovens per day!
Your Role
As a Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for providing high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance and a high standard in engineering support. You will assist in maintaining and maximising the manufacturing plant effectiveness and efficiency. Working with our collaborative and passionate manufacturing maintenance and engineering team, you will identify opportunities for factory improvements, downtime reduction, process improvements and data management through our computerised maintenance management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the plant is maintained efficiently with safety at the forefront.
- Carry out scheduled work in a timely and productive manner.
- Attend emergency repairs including breakdowns.
- Preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and refurbishments to presses, conveyor systems, robot cells and furnaces.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and adjust settings where necessary.
- Input data using Computerised Management System (Mainpac)
- Comply to WHS, environmental, quality and energy regulations.
- Work as part of a team and under minimal supervision.
About You

Skills and Qualifications
- Familiar with Take 5, JSEA, SWMS and pre task plans.
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Experience in manufacturing plant maintenance [will be advantageous]
- Have experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Knowledge of robotics [ABB] or willingness to learn.
- Have a good understanding of preventative/proactive maintenance.
- Have good computing skills.
- Experience in manual arc & mig welding, machining and fabrication.
- Interpret drawings and have the ability to diagnose and rectify problems.
- Possess a license to perform high risk work [Forklift, EWP] [will be advantageous]

This is a fulltime permanent position be based in Dudley Park SA.
