This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

How you will make your mark:

• Excellent understanding of the C&C organization, policies, processes and systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good prioritization, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience participating in Global project teams
• Proven leadership, project management, consulting and management of change experience
• Strong ability to manage at an operational level but also to make forward looking, strategic decisions aligned with organizational needs and goals
• Excellent reporting and data analytical skills; ability to translate the data into meaningful conclusions and recommend appropriate actions
• Expert problem investigation and resolution skills
• Strong presentation, facilitation, influencing, change management and cultural awareness skills
• Strong understanding of Governance Models as well as C&C Policies and Procedures
• Strong understanding of HPE’s Order Management Processes
• Strong understanding of HPE’s Dispute Management Process

About you:

• First level university degree; business or finance recommended or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in finance or relevant area
• Strong evidence of being a good performer.
• Advanced English
• SAP knowledge
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good prioritization and negotiation abilities.
• Good understanding of the C&C organization, policies, processes and systems.
• Preferably, experience participating in Global project teams.
• Strong ability to manage at an operational level but also to make forward looking, strategic decisions aligned with organizational needs and goals.
• Expert problem investigation and resolution skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Proven good reconciliation skills and abilities in due diligence
• Good sense of urgency and customer oriented
• Power BI is a plus
