About the opportunity
This role is responsible for contributing to the execution of Forensic investigations, disputes, project administration and risk management on a range of engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of forensic accounting engagements primarily involving damages assessments, valuations and financial investigations.
- Preparing and reviewing detailed financial models in Microsoft Excel, including analysing profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts in order to prepare a DCF analysis.
- Writing reports and other deliverables for review by Managing and Senior Managing Directors.
- Managing client expectations and job administration.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting, Commerce or Law
- Interested in or completed CA/CPA
- Experienced in an accounting, internal audit, risk, compliance, enforcement or similar role
- Highly knowledgeable in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Naturally curious with an aptitude for breaking down and solving problems
- Able to deal with sensitive matters confidentially and tactfully
- An excellent communicator (both written and verbal), able to distil and explain complex information and relate to key concepts
- Personable and confident in project management and delegation of tasks
