The Opportunity
An exciting, new opportunity has now become available for a College Bus Services / Finance Support Officer to join an integral team, working collaboratively with all members of the Finance department to provide administrative support and information to families regarding bus routes and ticketing.
The role is a permanent, part-time position (8.00am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday, working 41 weeks of the school year), based at the Gawler Belt campus, working across the Gawler Belt, Two Wells and Evanston campuses.
AsCollege Bus Services/Finance Officer, on a day-to-day basis you will:
- handle all parent enquiries regarding bus routes and ticketing
- process approved order and booking requests in relation to excursion/camp bus travel
- communicate directly with bus service providers
- process purchase orders in relation to bus bookings
- provide support to various members of the Finance team including responding to parent enquiries and requests regarding fees and financial assistance, entering and retrieving financial data from College systems and communicating to families annual bus fees, as required
- general Reception and customer services duties when required
To be successful in this role you will:
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
- be a team player, offering flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to support others
- a background in finance, administration and/or library experience in a school setting, preferably a secondary school is highly desirable
- have demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality, trust and integrity
