SalaryRandstad is currently partnering with an industry leader within mining resourcing to source an experienced Commercial Advisor to commence a 12 month fixed term contract. This opportunity would suit a qualified lawyer who has transitioned into Commercial Advisory or management. Our client offers great flexibility and allows a hybrid working arrangement. Sitting within the finance team you will assist the business in identifying and mitigating risk when responding to incoming RFQs by understanding T&Cs within proposals and proposing alternative pathways to reach a commercial understanding with external parties.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the formulation of commercial business strategies
- Develop and implement standard contractual offerings
- Review contractual agreements on all tender documents and quotes to identify and minimise business risk
- Review customer NDAs
- Ensure risk protection on all products
- Ensure major customers have an up to date framework agreement in place
- Manage and coordinate the renewal of the company's property portfolio
- Look for opportunities to improve internal processes such as tender submissions and sales presentations
- Provide commercial input into business reviews
- Manage internal relationships with the wider business units
