Solution Architect | Enterprise Data

Our Enterprise Data Platforms team enables the data driven enterprise, by building and supporting end-to-end data and analytics platforms to make it easy to find, share and access data.

What role will you play?
As a Solutions Architect, you will design the target state data technology solutions to implement our Enterprise Data technology strategy. You will work closely with our business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to understand requirements, define data tooling and integration capabilities, and drive proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies. You will play a key role enabling the organisation to meet regulatory, compliance and governance obligations through designing scalable, sustainable and commercial data solutions.
What you offer

• Experience designing and building data solutions such as Big Data / Spark, data analytics, data governance and/or data integration
• Demonstrated ability to consider non-functional requirements as part of Solution Architecture, including strategic fit, commerciality, scalability and effort
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and Solution Architecture to business executives and senior leaders, including leading workshops
• Experience working with Cloud technologies such as AWS
• Ability to make rapid, data driven recommendations and decisions
• Ability and courage to identify and callout risk in our data practice
• Ability to balance the investigation of future target state with focus on current agreed deliverables.
