What you’ll do
 

We require a skilled Commercial Analyst who has strong commercial acumen in FMCG, is competent in delivering channel/category profitability modelling and has had experience in tender acquisitions. This role will be pivotal in supporting the expansion of Australian Grocery Wholesalers (AGW). 
 

• Analysis of Sales and GP, price modelling by channel
• Provide insightful analysis and clear commentary by working with the Commercial Managers and Head of Business Delivery/Sales  on key drivers and performance trends
• Provide robust analysis of market & industry trends to aid in the identification of opportunities and risks
• Partnering with the commercial team to develop & implement robust strategic capital initiatives
• Provide better value for customers via analysis to support lower COGS and adopt more efficient practices

What you’ll bring

You are an experienced, ambitious and driven Commercial/Finance Analyst (CPA/CA qualified/or working towards) with experience modelling trading terms and a good understanding of price strategy & promotions effectiveness. Your approach is logical, analytical & you apply flexibility to meet critical deadlines.
 

• Experience in managing rebate adjustments or promotional discounts
• Perform under tight timelines, meet deadlines and in an environment of constant change
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to handle pressure and manage expectations
• Strong systems experience (SAP, GCP and Business Objects) and advanced Excel/modelling skills
