Accounts Payable Officer - Sundry

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Officer (Sundry) to join a dynamic team at Brandbank.
 
This role will be responsible for the maintenance of the sundry creditor ledger along with the fixed asset register for Brandbank Group of brands, consisting of Seed Heritage, Unison, Commonry, Allkinds, Fine-Day and kikki.K.
 
THE ROLE:

• Ensure all purchase orders are approved for received invoices
• Liaise with creditor regarding discrepancies
• Reconciled aged trial balance to be provided to the financial Accountant at the end of each month. 
• Write up creditor requisitions for approval prior to cheque run and prepare cheques for posting after Financial Accountant approval. 
• Maintain subsidiary ledger
• Prepare all overseas payments
• Happy to work on-site 5 days per week in St Kilda Rd Offices. 

• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in accounting
• Excellent Statement to Trial Balance reconciliation
• Experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, ideally in the retail industry.  
• Ability to manage and prioritise time according to business requirements and being highly proactive to resolve matters in a timely manner. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight tight deadlines
• Strong organisation skills and time management abilities
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
