About the role
This exciting role will support the sale and delivery of industrial land and commercial opportunities to the market across a broad range of projects. The role will work closely with the industrial delivery team and project teams which include commercial offerings such at Tonsley Innovation District. Reporting to the Commercial and Industrial Sales Lead this role will work in a fast paced and collaborative environment.

The role will engage with key industry stakeholders and support sales outcomes that benefit the state while informing the future pipeline of opportunities. This role will apply a data centric approach that provides actionable insights to the broader team and support the Commercial and Industrial Sale Lead in providing advise to other areas of the organisation.

The role will work across a wide range of projects including industrial land at Gillman, Technology Park, Edinburgh Parks, North LeFevre Peninsula and Tonsley Innovation District.

The role will manage and oversee effective sales initiatives to ensure sales budgets and targets are achieved and support identifying analysing and resolving complex sales issues, risks, challenges and opportunities.

The key areas of responsibility include

  • In conjunction with Industrial and Commercial Sales Lead, develop and manage sales strategies and agreements that deliver commercial outcomes through the sale of Commercial and Industrial land.
  • Negotiate and secure transactions with commercial terms to achieve the best outcomes for Renewal SA.
  • Develop documents including sales strategies, reports, probity and evaluation plans, budget tracking, and risk reporting to facilitate and guide the delivery and effective sales of Commercial and Industrial land and projects.
  • Review and negotiate sales contracts, addressing any issues and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organisational policies.
  • Monitor and manage relevant operational expenditure and reconcile against budget performance to ensure project budget adherence.

The person must provide a problem-solving mentality to resolve and work through multiple complex and large sales.

The person will be a self-starter and be able to work autonomously but seek support and guidance when required.

A collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and management as well as strong management of external contractors and internal resources to ensure successful management of sales contracts and settlements is essential.
