Role Overview As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting effective marketing promotions and Communications, ensuring the positive representation of this organization and nurturing engaged audiences within the member community.
Key Responsibilities
Social media moderation and coordination.
- Monitoring and responding to social media enquiries (Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, X(Twitter)
- Schedule posts using sprout social.
- Design visual imagery using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or Figma
- Monitor and report on engagement.
- Support marketing manager to build and coordinate monthly newsletters
- follow timelines and adhere to deadlines (ie content submissions)
- Create visual assets
- Utilise marketing dashboard to populate results
- Support with Adhoc emails.
- Monitor and respond to community board and support emails using Ticketing system (Freshdesk)
- Monitor and manage media enquiries and relay to relevant team members
- Ensure contact records are added, maintained and updated in Pardot and Salesforce.
- Publish website updates using wordpress CMS to maintain relevancy and accuracy
- coordinate announcement blogs, promote stories and articles as requested.
- other generalised Marketing and Communications support
Required Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Eye for design and proficiency in design tools like Canva for creating visually appealing marketing materials adhering to brand guidelines
- Willingness to adapt to new tools and technologies
- Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Effective time management abilities
- Ability to embrace change and work collaboratively
