About the role
As a leader in tyres and rubber, Bridgestone strives to provide both social value and customer value as a sustainable solutions company. Based at our Head Office in Adelaide and reporting into the General Manager – Sales, you will specifically develop and implement the sales strategy for Bridgestone Australia Commercial Fleet & OE business. This is both a strategic and hands-on role where you will foster open communication channels with key stakeholders to ensure your ability to provide key customer solutions and lead a team of National Account Managers to ensure sales budgets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow key customer relationships to ensure mutually beneficial growth
- Develop and implement a strategic plan which clearly defines the competitive advantages of the holistic Bridgestone service offering
- Maintain regular and effective contact with all major stakeholders to ensure open communication channels
- Effectively manage and lead the National Account Management team to ensure sales budgets and targets are achieved
- Review the team’s performance to improve and foster customer relationships with the end goal of improving customer service
- Oversee and assist with tenders related to Commercial business
- Analyse the total solution business offering to ensure customer value is being provided with transparency and differentiation from our competitors
About you
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience, essential
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales strategy for a large / complex organisation
- Proven experience interpreting the needs and motivational requirements of business stakeholders into actionable outcomes
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of professionals
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong numeracy, financial, literacy and computer skills
- High level of commercial acumen
