Form of workWe are seeking an experienced Commercial and Workplace Litigation Solicitor (1-3 years plus PQE) who is confident, experienced in running a file with limited supervision, conducting client consultations, appearing in Court and Tribunals and in Mediations and Conciliations. As litigation matters handled by the firm continue to grow, there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lawyer to join the team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to run an extensive range of matters with excellent collegiate support and mentoring.
You will possess an ability to prioritize your work to meet deadlines and have exceptional interpersonal skills to assist clients navigate through their legal matters with confidence and integrity. You will have:
- Experience of Litigation & Dispute Resolution matters, from the taking of initial instructions to the completion of the matter (COMMERCIAL AND WORKPLACE)
- Experience drafting pleadings, settlement agreements, correspondence and advice
- Experience appearing in Tribunal, Work Commission and Courts at all levels
- The development of strategies to resolve simple and complex disputes on behalf of clients
- At least 1-3 plus years’ (PQE) experience with strengths in complex commercial litigation AND WORKPLACE LITIGATION matters
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to form long-standing relationships with clients
- The ability to work independently on simple matters and co-operatively on more complex matters
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to brief Counsel where required for interim and final hearingsWhat is on offer to you:
