The Team
The Commercial Litigation Team has been recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers Asia Pacific in 2023 among other prestigious awards.
They has a wide range of clients, including multinational corporations, major financial institutions, governments, and high-profile individuals. They tailor their approach to each dispute, valuing relationship preservation and employing methods like settlement negotiations and mediation for resolution.
In these roles, you'll collaborate closely with four highly regarded partners alongside other prominent lawyers within their local, national, and global network.
The Role
Due to growth, there is now two new roles for a Solicitor and Senior Lawyer to join the Commercial Litigation team, based out of the firm’s Sydney office.
These roles will involve delivering excellent client service through effective file management and proactive issue resolution. You'll also contribute to business development with current and potential new clients. You will also work closely with colleagues in different offices, both nationally and internationally.
Requirements
For the solicitor role you will ideally have 2-5 years’ PAE and for the Senior Associate role you will need at least 6 years' PAE and have previous experience in delivering technical advice on a range of general commercial litigation and class actions matters from a private practice setting.
In addition, you will:
- Have excellent academics and strong legal skills
- Be a proactive team player
- Have exceptional client relation skills to build effective working relationships
- Have exceptional organisational skills and efficiency in managing time
