We are a fast-expanding, modern progressive law firm located in the centre of the Sydney CBD. We are looking for driven professionals to join our team. This award-winning firm primarily practices in Commercial Litigation.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Solicitor with experience in Commercial Litigation. You will be involved in a diverse range of complex litigation matters including property disputes, shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, with the opportunity to have a direct hands-on role, working closely with the Principal Solicitor. This role encompasses a broad range of duties including:
- having day-to-day carriage of various Commercial Litigation matters;
- assistance with large complex matters;
- attending court;
- briefing and instructing counsel;
- liaising with and advising clients;
- drafting correspondence and court documents; and
- mentoring paralegals.
About you
The successful candidate will have private practice experience in Commercial Litigation. You will have strong technical drafting and research skills. In addition, you will also have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities. You will have exceptional organisational skills, be a team player and work autonomously, with the capability to quickly adapt and respond appropriately.
