The Role:
AMA (WA) Financial Services is seeking a driven and organised team player to join us as a Commercial Broker. This full-time position presents an outstanding opportunity as it plays a pivotal role within our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing exceptional support to new clients, fostering strong relationships, and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Converting leads to applications.
- Analysing and interpreting financial data.
- Preparing lending applications and submissions.
- Effectively communicating with clients, lenders, internal team, and key partners.
- Maintaining compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Sound financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
- Understanding of balance sheets, profit & loss, loan structuring, and security structuring.
- Excellent customer engagement skills (both face to face and non-face to face).
- Experience in facilitating conversations with customers to understand their needs and managing a pipeline of opportunities.
- Proven sales performance and ability to grow portfolio preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the wider team.
- Prior demonstrated experience within banking/broking and/or credit assessment.
- Understanding of business/commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, and credit assessment.
- Ability to gain necessary lender and industry body accreditations within a timely manner if not already held.
- Business-related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification preferred but not essential if relevant prior work experience is held.
