This is a great time to join their operations, as they work on exciting projects supporting their journey towards decarbonisation.The Opportunity:We are seeking a Commercial Business Partner for Grange Resources, a critical role in developing and managing commercial functions and key relationships for all major contracts worth over $100 million. This position requires strong commercial acumen to ensure successful negotiation, execution, and management of contracts while mitigating risks and maximising value for the company.In this role, you will:
- Lead the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance and support in contract management, including contract review, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures around contract management, supplier management, tendering processes, and procurement practices.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, value enhancement, and process improvement within the commercial function.
- Assist in the management of key business risk exposures, including insurance, energy, supply chain, and other commercial risks.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or Law).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- A proven track record of successfully managing complex contracts and commercial agreements.
- An in-depth understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate contract terms, assess financial implications, and drive value optimisation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI will be advantageous.
- A current full manual driver's license.
