We are currently recruiting experienced Commercial Electricians across several new roles in the business. This is an opportunity to join a business that is growing and offering different career paths with training and professional development.
There are four new positions on offer:
Commercial Service Technician to work across a portfolio of CBD Commercial buildings and complete scheduled maintenance, repairs and fault-finding tasks;
Commercial Project Lead to carry a project from being awarded the work through to completion with full accountability for people, quality and margins;
BMS Technician to support a team involved in a state-wide ALDI project;
Electrical Account Manager to support and maintain relationships with key clients and assist in managing business opportunities with new and existing clients.
Our business has a significant pipeline of commercial office fitout work in CBD office buildings, where we are the incumbent Electrical Service Contractor completing planned periodic maintenance, proactive and reactive electrical services. Our other work involves Retail projects, EV charger installations, LED upgrades, Lighting Automation installations & commissioning, HVAC installations and Industrial site power upgrades.

What will you be doing?
- Conducting electrical inspections of a range of electrical systems
- RCD & Emergency Lighting testing and repairs
- Fault-finding electrical circuits
- Installation of electrical equipment and wiring.
- Switchboard Auditing, Thermal Imaging repairs, and Building Load Tests.
- Building long-lasting and trusting working relationships with our valued customers.
What does our dream canididate have?
- Large Retail and Commercial fit out experience – From planning to completion
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, repairs and servicing of commercial and industrial assets.
- Proven service and maintenance experience with a focus on customer service and quality workmanship.
- Previous experience in a leading hand/supervisory role
- High level of lighting, lighting control systems, LED, power and data knowledge.
- Knowledge of generators and building emergency backup services.
- Motivated to provide excellent service.
- Time management and organisational skills
- Highly driven individual
- Ability to work unsupervised, identify faults and plan jobs
- Ensure that all work activities are undertaken following policies, company practices, processes, and standards

To be successful, you must have:
- Current Queensland Electrical License
- Sound working knowledge of AS3000:2018
- Strong knowledge and focus on WH&S
- Excellent communication skills and experience with Job Management software applications
- Current QLD manual driver's license
- Australian/Permanent Resident
It is desirable to possess the following:
- Current Communications Open Cablers License
- Current Manufactures Endorsements – eg. Commscope, Molex, Krone, Panduit
- Up-to-date CPR/LVR certificate
- 4 years of post-trade experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and either AroFlo or Simpro.
