As a group, we are growing rapidly and are actively contributing towards the energy transition to net zero.The Role & Requirements:We are seeking a Senior Substation Design Officer to design and support the construction of grid scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) to deliver affordable energy as we are powering towards 80% renewable energy by 2035. These projects are pushing the frontier of renewable technology here in Australia, so apply today to make your impact.Working as a member of the Substation Design & Engineering team, you will work to deliver technical advice and detailed design solutions which include drafting, detailed design checking, and provide input to design estimates.You hold your Associate Degree/Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering or relevant equivalent qualification.There are opportunities to sit at one of our offices in Brisbane (Newstead & Nundah), Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville (Garbutt), and Cairns.With flexi-working and a 9 or 10 day fortnight in place, the bottom of the salary band starts from $139,032 for 9 days and $157,106 for 10 days. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position.
