Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for driving business growth? We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will play a crucial part in shaping financial strategies, optimising processes, and ensuring sustainable growth.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, and inspiring a team of three, this role is critical for the finance transformation program, and partners with the business and senior executives. Specific responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Design and build comprehensive financial reports using Power BI.
- Prepare monthly management reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
- Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage financial budgets.
- Create accurate forecasts to guide strategic planning.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains.
- Implement best practices to streamline financial operations.
Project Management:
- Oversee financial aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial Finance roles.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to inspire and create a dynamic team
