About the Role:
You will be assisting with a wide variety of activities that are centred around the assembly and construction of farm infrastructure. We are welcoming applicants with a forklift licence (high risk work licence - training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Long-term casual position with fulltime hours, during peak season.
- Heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
- Installation of greenhouse tunnels, high net installation and trellising
- Operate tractor with various implements
- Manual labouring tasks
- Use of handheld electric and petrol power tools
- Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery as directed
- Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ensure all equipment is regularly washed down and cleaned according to set standards
- Work flexible shifts, workload, and weather dependent.
- Not suited to complete the 88 day visa requirements.

We are looking for someone who will take reasonable actions within their authority to ensure compliance with work health and safety legislation and Costa policies, protocols and procedures for the health and safety of all workers and visitors within the workplace.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current manual driver’s license
- Forklift license desired
- Experience operating farm equipment such as tractors
- Agricultural or Horticultural experience desired but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Good record keeping
- The ability to work well as a team
- The enthusiasm to learn new skills
- A great understanding of English (written and spoken)
- Good planning and time management to ensure set tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Punctual, reliable, and able to follow direction
- Flexible to work some weekends or nights when required
