It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.Key responsibilities:
- Providing accurate and timely advice to the Regional Business Director and section leaders on commercial aspects of the region's operation including financial performance such as revenue and expenditure forecasting, resourcing, profitability of the region, partner programs and projects, as well as financial compliance.
- Coordinating the commercial activities and performance of the region through compiling budgets and monitoring the region's performance, especially work order management, whilst ensuring a visible and agreed integration platform.
- Managing the operations of the administrative, project administration and contract administration functions of the region to ensure that services meet the needs of our partners.
- Supporting Regional management to ensure timely and accurate reporting to partners on services provided against agreed performance indicators.
- Establishing budgets in line with business plan targets, monitoring performance against such plans and budgets, and taking remedial action where necessary.
- Reviewing and developing business systems used within the region and implementing any changes or enhancements.
- Contributing to the development, implementation and review of the region's operational plan, fee levels, performance indicators and service levels to ensure they meet partner and business requirements.
