Are you passionate about animal welfare and seeking a fulfilling role where you can drive commercial expansion while contributing to a meaningful cause? RSPCA South Australia is seeking a dedicated Commercial Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in our exciting expansion project.
About Us: RSPCA South Australia is a leading animal welfare organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need. Our network of Op Shops plays a vital role in funding our mission to prevent cruelty to animals. We are embarking on a commercial expansion project to further support our cause and are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Op Shop growth strategy.
- Drive operational and logistical improvements in existing Op Shops.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Provide support for new operational processes within the commercial department.
- Manage and deliver projects in line with RSPCA SA Project Management framework.
- Ensure activities comply with RSPCA SA Brand Identity Design Guide.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the Head of Commercial and Retail.
- Manage stock control and loss prevention measures.
- Procure necessary resources for the Op Shop network.
- Monitor store security and report any concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to RSPCA SA and the Op Shops.
- Responsible for allocated warehouse runs and maintaining warehouse organization.
- Produce high-quality written documents, operational statistics, and reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Commercial Operations management or a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on budget and timeline adherence.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for animal welfare and the mission of RSPCA South Australia.
