Commercial, Property, Wills & Estate Solicitor

Classic Recruitment is proud to be working with a locally owned Law Firm based in Toowoomba. 

The firm is currently has two Partners, however one will be retiring at the end of this financial year. For the right person there could be an opportunity to become a Partner down the track. 

Ideally, they are looking for a qualified Solicitor who has either recently graduated or with 5-10 years' experience.

The firm does a lot of Property Law, and Wills & Estates, so previous experience in this area is advantageous, however if you have had experience, or have interest in other areas of law then this will also be considered. 

The successful applicant will possess the following.

• Previous experience in conveyancing, property, commercial and Wills & Estate law
• Proven capacity to provide appropriate, timely, practical written and verbal legal advice.
• Strong knowledge in the areas of commercial, residential and property contracts, leasing, property sales and purchases, including the preparation of applicable documentation.
• Good work ethic, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively, and manage own files to completion, but also proven ability to work as part of a team. 
• Time management, the ability to prioritise, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Positive, motivated, and professional attitude towards colleagues and clients 
• Demonstrate a client-focused approach to work and able to build strong relationships with clients and referrers.

  
Role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Reviewing Residential and Commercial Contracts
• Preparing and Reviewing Leases
• Marketing Wills and EPOA’s to our clients
• Preparing Will and POA, as well as estate planning
• Preparing of Trusts

This is a full-time opportunity with an attractive salary on offer (including bonus incentives) pending your experience.
