Great opportunity for an experienced Insurance professional to manage a national insurance programme
Your new company
This is an opportunity to join a progressive and collaborative global commercial enterprise managing their group insurance policies across a national portfolio. You will be managing the renewals, policy coverage and Risk Management culture in the business, as well as developing relationships with brokers and taking responsibility for claim management processes as well. This role also offers the right candidate the opportunity to be part of the leadership team and be part of the discussions about the long-term insurance strategy for the business.
Your new role
In this role as an Insurance Manager, you will be:
- Managing a diverse insurance portfolio including property, motor & workers compensation
- Reviewing tender processes and negotiating new contracts with insurers
- Building relationships with key Insurers and underwriters, as well as internal stakeholders
- Taking a leadership position within the business and supporting the development of other staff members
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience managing an insurance book
- At least 3 years managing Risk through underwriting, Broking, or Risk assessment
- A strong understanding of commercial and general insurance
- Excellent communication skills and written capability
