Purpose of the Role: As the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the Enterprise Risk framework sand associated risk management systems and technology. Reporting to the General Manager Group Risk & Assurance, you will lead the strategic design, development, and maintenance of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide thought leadership in areas such as artificial intelligence, automation, and technologies that support effective risk and compliance practices.

Position Accountabilities: This role will see you accountable for:
- Collaborating the executive leadership team to support the ongoing development of the risk systems strategy.
- Developing and maintaining the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system and providing guidance and training materials across the business.
- Supporting the delivery of the GRC system development roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Providing guidance and support to system users and recommending changes to risk-related processes.
- Assisting with risk reporting requirements and providing specific insights from the GRC across the business.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in system-generated processes through technologies such as artificial intelligence and automation.
- At least 5 years of operational risk, enterprise, and/or GRC experience.
- Relevant tertiary education, coupled with audit, accountancy, risk, or actuarial experience.
- Strong leadership and engagement skills, with the ability to manage subject matter experts effectively.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with Senior Managers and other key stakeholders.
- Experience in the general insurance industry is highly regarded.
