This business provides commercial finance to commercial supply chain and the end user business customers. Applications include:
1. Inventory finance for manufacturers, Dealers and Resellers
2. Equipment Finance for businesses purchasing heavy industrial equipment
3. Sale of receivables programs for large vendors
Opportunity: is with a tier one banking organisation, entirely focused on Commercial lending solutions to commercial business customers in Australia and New Zealand.
Role: Due to substantial growth in the sales performance of the business, an additional role has been created in the Credit Risk team. This role will be liaising with the internal parts of their business to work up and recommend end-user customer credit applications as well as local manufacturer agreements and dealer agreements.
This role will then present a well reasoned credit recommendation to the approving authority, up to and including the Credit Committee.
You will need to know how to secure exposures to both: 1. Non-current depreciable assets, like trucks and earth moving equipment etc. as well as. 2. Current assets - like Receivables and Inventory.
The applications will me a mix of transaction types, from "new to bank" applications through to annual reviews.

Requirements: We will be seeking to discuss this role with applicants who best demonstrate the following skills and experience:
1.Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are preferred for roles at this level
2. Ideally you would have seen at least 3 years of lending experience with larger commercial finance applications using cash flow analysis of financial statements
3. Always working to support the vendor/dealer and asking questions that will help the application to identify and mitigate risks of a transaction
4. Strong communication skills as you will, from time to time, need to discuss more marginal applications with customers to try and establish further comfort to a deal.
