Role & Responsibilities
- Be responsible for end-to-end management of commercial property Sales & Leasing, ensuring positive client experience
- Serve as main point of contact between property owners and prospective buyers/tenants and ensure a fair deal for all parties, whilst always acting in our client’s best interests
- Assist owners/landlords in promoting their properties for sale or lease, and offer advice to interested buyers/tenants
- Negotiate and prepare relevant paperwork (marketing collateral & agency agreements) prior to listing commercial properties for sale/lease
- Perform comparative market analysis to accurately appraise commercial properties
- Conduct research of the local real estate market and stay up to date on industry trends
- Formulate thoughtful analyses of client’s properties, including opinion of value, market comparables and research
- Complete all necessary documentation associated with listing and selling property, including preparation and execution of sales agency agreements, advertising material, Sales Advice & Heads of Agreement
- Plan, design and conduct appropriate marketing and selling strategies for individual properties within budgetary limits
- Prospect new client relationships, property listings and network with other industry professionals
- In addition to the above role requirements, be involved in activities designed to assist Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra in gaining a greater market share and property listings, including telephone canvassing, door knocking and leaflet drops
- Achieve individual monthly / quarterly targets as set by management
- Maintain familiarity with all office listings and manage listings assigned by management including regularly liaising with vendors, prospective buyers, solicitors, councils and any other essential party
- Prepare and manage documentation and internal databases to ensure most up-to-date property and client information
- Conduct market appraisals for prospective vendors
- Demonstrate an ability to convert listing presentations into exclusive listings
- Satisfy the requirements to uphold a real estate licence or certificate of registration under relevant real estate legislation
- Endeavour to maintain an understanding of both local and national real estate markets
- Participate in key result area and key performance indicator reviews
- Maintain a high professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards
What you bring:

Desirable
- Experience in the real estate industry
- Experience in the local property market
- An understanding of both local and national real estate markets
- Knowledge of effective marketing strategies relevant to the industry
- Relevant formal training
