COORDINARE is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Project Coordinator, Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs to join our team and report to the Commissioning Manager, Mental Health.

If you would like to: 

  • Contribute to the creation of one coordinated regional health system for our community,
  • Role will be based in either Wollongong, Nowra, Fyshwick, or Moruya,
  • Fixed term, full time position to 30 June 2025 with a likely extension dependent on funding,

COORDINARE is the Primary Health Network (PHN) for South Eastern NSW. We work with government, non-profit, healthcare providers, service partners and communities to coordinate local health services and support those at risk of poor health outcomes.

Purpose for this role:

The Commissioning Coordinator’s role is an integral part of the Commissioning team supporting the commissioning of services and solutions to achieve a more connected health system based on population needs that lead to improved health outcomes and consumer experience across South Eastern NSW.

This position will support the Mental Health, alcohol and Other Drugs portfolios.

What skills and experience are required to be successful in this role?

  • Well developed skills and experience in project management in a complex, specialised environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of a positive contemporary approach to person centred service delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Desirable: a sound understanding of commissioning and commissioning processes.
