Support Coordinator/Recovery Coach

Do you have:

• Minimum of two years experience working directly with providers and participants within the NDIS framework?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills?

These roles supporting female participants will be casual and will be paid at Grade 3 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.  The hourly base pay rate will be between $36 and $38.60, depending on experience and qualifications.

These roles will suit someone looking for a second job or someone looking for a role where hours will increase rapidly to meet expected increased demand.

Essential job criteria

1. Minimum Certificate IV in Disability, Social Work or Mental Health.
2. Demonstrated highly developed written, verbal, interpersonal and service collaboration skills.
3. Demonstrated NDIS literacy with a minimum of 2 years working within the NDIS framework, including:
   • Working with NDIS participants directly,
   • Working with NDIS providers directly, and
   • Using the NDIS portal
4. A current Australian Driver’s Licence

Desirable criteria

1. Demonstrated awareness of consumer advocacy and empowerment issues
2. Knowledge, skills and experience relevant to mental health support
3. Experience managing aggressive communication.
