The Role

EVSE Australia is expanding rapidly and seeking a talented Commissioning Electrician to join us on-site in Silverwater, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in our mission to scale operations and deliver premium products to our diverse customer base. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Commissioning of EV charging stations – connecting power to the EV chargers, configuring and ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
  • Collaborate remotely and on-site with installation teams to ensure successful system deployment of EV Chargers.
  • Set up and configure backend settings for each charger.
  • Handle the configuration of OCPP settings on chargers.
  • Onboard and integrate charging stations onto our software platforms.

About You

  • Qualified Electrician with Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using software for configuration and documentation purposes.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of EV charging systems and electrical infrastructure is a plus.
  • Proven experience in commissioning electrical equipment is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of OCPP and other relevant EV charging protocol is a plus.
  • Passion for sustainable energy and electric vehicles.
