What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Commissioning Technician to join our rapidly growing program of works within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will join an experienced team of like-minded professionals who put Safety, Quality and Compliance at the forefront of everything they do.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Undertake hands-on dry, wet and process commissioning activities
Commissioning assets include switchboards, pumps, instrumentation, odour control systems, waste water treatment process systems and the associated PLC/SCADA/HMI control systems
Development of commissioning plans, methodologies, quality documentation and commissioning schedules
Coordination with project teams and the client on required commissioning activities
Facilitate the commissioning process proving period and handover of assets
Assist with the development and submission of project close-out documentation.
How you'll connect to the role:
Either a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, equivalent tertiary qualification or hold an Electrical licence
Strong proven history and hands-on technical experience in commissioning electrical, control systems, mechanical, pumping systems and/or treatment process infrastructure
Proven record in managing complex interfaces in a collaborative fashion that involve multiple stakeholders and partners
Thorough understanding of commissioning methods, technical standards, quality assurance, interface and commissioning requirements
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Practical knowledge of HSE and statutory requirements, including risk assessment and mitigation processes
